CCIFA Certified Assessor

CCIFA Certified Assessors are those professionals that have been approved by CCIFA for preforming the work – based assessment (WBA) .


Work – based assessment is criterion – referenced. This means that there are explicit performance requirements or criteria for passing the assessment.


CCIFA Certified Assessors need to ensure that sufficient evidence has been observed, examined and recorded

Evidence is the learning activity or material that is assessed in order to make an objective judgment. The forms of evidence may include:

A product of work

Report

Video recording

Direct observation

Third -party testimony

Computer file

Photograph

Audio recording

Witness statement

interviewing

A code of ethics is necessary and appropriate for the CCIFA Certified Assessor, which is based on the following principles:

  • objectivity

  • confidentiality

  • competence

Become a CCIFA Certified Assessor

To become a CCIFA Certified Assessor, the applicant must attend a one -day workshop, which is USD 200.00. The applicant must hold a recognized degree or professional qualification, and work experience gained within the 10-year period preceding the application date
